Our Fire Alarm Cable comes in 12 awg, 14 awg, 16 awg, 18 awg, & 22 awg; 2, 4 & 6 conductor. It is also know as FPLR Cable, or Fire-Power Limited-Riser Cable. Type FPLR power-limited fire alarm riser cable is rated for use in a vertical run in a shaft or from floor to floor. FPLR cables have fire-resistant characteristics that are intended to prevent fire from traveling floor to floor. We also carry a shielded FPLR Fire Alarm Cable, and a Plenum Type FPLP Cable. Power-limited fire alarm plenum cable is rated suitable for use in ducts, plenums and other space used for environmental air.
